A Kent school which was one of the worst in the country four years ago is celebrating a huge improvement - last summer 71 percent of pupils gained at least 5 good GCSEs at Wilmington Enterprise College, near Dartford. In 2010 that figure was just 11 percent, and the school was in special measures. Its now one of the best-performing non-selective schools in the South East. The headteacher of the school claims her job would be easier if Grammar schools were scrapped all together. Ellie Price reports,
