(1 Peter 5:10) The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, Joseph went through much struggle from the age of 17 till the age of 30 because of his piety! His own brothers wanted to kill him. Today, when we face afflictions, we wonder why they happen to us. But the Bible says that these trials and tribulations are only for a little while (I Peter 1:6,7). The men of God in the Bible too went through the paths of trials only for a brief period. Finally, they received fame, honour and glory! The same blessing is waiting for you. When you seek the Lord more and more even amidst your problems, at the end, He will give you fame, honour and glory. This is because, Jesus, the the Son of God, also went through the path of suffering. The Bible says, “…having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross” (Colossians 2:14). When we cling on to the Lord, He keeps His eyes upon us and grants us victory. Here is an amazing testimony of a dear Young Partner who tasted miraculous success in life: “I had secured very low marks in my +2. However, I had the greatest desire to become an engineer. But I could not get admission for engineering because of my poor marks. I was in agony. I applied in other colleges to do some other course. Yet I did not get admission there also. With tears, I was praying for my future studies." As the grace of God was upon me, suddenly, I got a call from an engineering college. It was my mother who attended the call and the college officials had inquired whether I was willing to join their college. Immediately, I accepted it and I joined there. Now God is helping me to score 80% in every semester exam. I give all glory to the Lord Jesus who is giving me such tremendous success.” Dearly beloved, the Lord is going to give you the same blessing – a life of success and victory! He is going to give you success over everything. So do not despair! The Bible says, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20). How did He bless Joseph? He placed him in the position of the king who himself conducted his wedding. Joseph’s marriage might have been like a king’s. He has similar blessing and honour for you too. The Bible says, “But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you” (1 Peter 5:10). Our God is gracious. He will deliver you from all your problems. He will raise you up from your humble state and give you a life of success. He will restore your happiness. Prayer: Loving Lord Jesus, I seek You diligently. I trust that You will never forsake me. Please strengthen me by your divine grace. Deliver me from all my problems and bless me abundantly. Shower your favour upon me and raise me up from my humble state. Give me a life of success and restore my happiness. In Your matchless name I pray. Amen. ----
