A LITTLE BLURB OF MY THOUGHTS: I read a post from a blogger who questioned blogs that promote all kinds of books and books they have not read. They stated they had their word and it meant something. I say good for them! I am proud that they choose to run a blog based off of only books they have read. Now let me tell you a little about myself and why I created this blog: First off I have my word too and It means something I have been an avid reader. My kindle had 350+ books finished in two years. These books are of all different genres. I have been able to go into the book worlds of many different stories and reading is a great comfort for me. I encountered a few authors on Facebook that I was absolutely star strucked with! Then I had the greatest pleasure of learning they are humans that eat, breath and sleep like the rest of us. I also learned from them how difficult self promotion could be and even how much promotion traditional published authors have to do. I decided I wanted to create a page to help authors get the word out on their books. I also wanted to create a page where readers have endless options to choose from. I was not thinking of other pages in the beginning until I met some amazing bloggers. I also learned myself that blogs are similar to Author pages in trying to reach out to the readers. So our page also became about helping to promote blogs. I am a simple girl, well woman, who is a full time wife and mother and unfortunately one that deals with disabilities. I am fortunate to have the time to run this page the best I can. I do spend a lot of time running it but I enjoy it I try to bring in new ways of promoting and still stick to some of the ways we started with. I promote authors and give readers the resources they need to find good books. That is the goal of our page. So no, I do not read every book I promote on my page. I wish I could but theres not enough time in the world for me to accomplish that. I do post reviews on the books I recommend. I do post on my statuses with book links when I have read the book and enjoyed it. But all in all this blog is not about posting and promoting books I have read. It is about being an additional voice for authors and helping them spread the word on their books. It is about giving readers a chance to go to one blog and find hundreds of authors and books. If its frowned upon for a blog to promote books they have not read then let the frowns continue because thats not what this page is about. We also promote all authors and all genres. We dont discriminate against any author or genre. You would have to be a real douche for me to tell you no I dont want you a part of our page. We will continue helping authors, blogs and readers. That is what this page does and I hope everyone following it, enjoys it. Remember it is OUR page. I may be the one posting but without the authors and readers there would be no reason to post. I love all the amazing people I have encountered. Thank you for being supportive.
