These are the guys who won the war, they fought with unmatched conviction, ordinary people fighting for an ordinary people righteous cause!!, they did not need inducements or motivation from any rhetorical mumbo jumbo. They knew what and why they were fighting the racist colonisers they still do. Sadly war deprived many the opportunity to academically progress after the war and vultures that set on the fence chanced it and you will notice that these office based so and so or came to the front after ceasefire are loudest in talking about hondo!! the clueless about the pain and hardships of the combat zone, some who never saw a dead comrade ever!! ndovakutaurisa and well and trully ensconced in strategic offices looking down on those that made it possible for them to be filthy rich and highly regarded in society. On this Heroes Holiday spare a thought for those that for nothing!! sacrificed their lives and left their families when they could just have played along like Tsvangirai and be living in tax payer mansions, like some cadres now mafia like in corruption, spare a thought for these ultimate heroes, everyone knows them, is related to them, is son or daughter of some of them, please honour them in your houses, drinking holes, churches, wherever you maybe, honour the real heroes that are silent because their station in life dealt them that fate.
