A Leading Industrial Company in Tunisia is in urgent need to fill the following vacancy: FINANCIAL CONTROLLER – TUNISIA Job Description This position is responsible for leading the Finance Department. It includes providing strong leadership and effective management of the financial functions of the company. The role is an important member of the senior management team contributing to the commercial, operational and growth strategies. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: - Directs the financial strategy, planning and forecasts, conferring with the top management, department heads and concepts. - Plans, organises, and directs financial and management control functions; - Studies, analyzes and reports on market and financial trends (e.g. implication of changes in tax laws) and opportunities for improvement, expansion and projection of future company growth; - Supervises relations and negotiations between the company and relevant financial institutions; - Using a financial control framework, including financial accountabilities and authorities to ensure full financial control. - Provides strong leadership and guidance to the organisation’s finance staff through establishment of performance goals, allocation of resources and ensure that they have an understanding of the vision and strategy and their part in its achievement; Qualifications & Skills : - MBA / BA Degree in Accounting with minimum 10 years experience and previous experience in a similar position. - Comprehensive knowledge of (IFRS), finance and accounting practices. - Strong writing and reporting skills in English and preferably fluent in French.
