A Letter from God #122 As you walk with Me, people will let you down and disappoint you. Circumstances will be difficult. The Enemy will hassle you. This is when you need to remember why you started to walk with Me in the first place. It was because of My Son. So keep your eyes fixed on Me. That will keep you moving forward, because the only way you will make it as Christians is by keeping our eyes on Me. I never promised to remove temptation from you, for even My Son was subject to it. He was tested in all things, like as you are, yet without sin. There is no good reason why you should seek to escape, for such times of testing have beneficial effects. There is a sense of achievement and assurance that results from victory over temptation that cannot come to you otherwise. Temptation shows what people really are. It does not make you Christian or un-Christian. It does make you stronger and causes you to discover resources of power. You can benefit from what might be tragedy, if you will only discover that in just such a time of temptation, I can become more real to you than ever, and My salvation will become more meaningful. --God
