A Love Poem Norman the Nihilist lived in the dark. He didnt - TopicsExpress

A Love Poem Norman the Nihilist lived in the dark. He didnt have time for that church going lark. He said, Life is meaningless. Faith makes no sense. A vacuum of nothingness faces us, hence his truculent manner, his slovenly gait. A life without romantic purpose, but wait.... Cath the creationist loved saying prayers from the depths of her heart at the top of the stairs. She knew God was real and that once at his peak hed finished the world in just under a week. She met Richard Dawkins and said Richard please, theres no way my ancestors swung through the trees. When Norman met Cathy his place in the dark was lit with real sunshine, a magical spark. Then Cathy said Norman, you atheist twit, youre views are appalling but I must admit I think you are gorgeous. In fact, you are hunky. Theres no way your great, great, great gran was a monkey. They argued and argued and argued until they found an agreement, (a truce if you will). He rose from his pit and she fell from her perch and soon they were wed in an Anglican church. The moral is simple. Im sure youll agree, theres room for us all in the old C of E.
