A MIRACLE ABOUT THIS BABA FRAME PRESENT IN SHIVAJI NAGAR(PUNE) BABA TEMPLE WHERE BABA’S TOOTH KEPT: July 1961, the Panshet dam broke during heavy monsoon and the whole of Pune city was under flood water. A large part of the city was devastated and many houses crumbled down. The Sai Mandir at Shivaji Nagar, Pune was at the banks of the river Mulla. Because of the breaking of the Panshet dam, the level of water rose to about twenty to twentyfive feet above the dome of this temple. After 3 months the members of the mandal ran to the site for salvage of the temple. It was herculean task to clear the thick deposit of mud on the temple and its vicinity. The work went on continuously for two or three days and then to the wonder of everybody, the old temple was found to be quite intact. The miracle was that the temple which had an oil-painted portrait of Baba was discovered, completely unblemished! Still avaibale for Darshan With out any strains or damage. The tree and the padukas in the temple were unaffected although all structures round about the place were destroyed in the fury of the flood waters.
