A MORNING THOUGHT FROM DOUG- (THURSDAY) - Those who know my brother Bingo (Gary) knows that he rarely initiates conversation unless he needs something. I have shared that Bingo has been telling us he has been making weekly trips to Heaven and some of the sights and people he has seen, one being Dr. Price who was not his doctor and has been gone many years. Yesterday he came downstairs and told my mom that his weekly trips have turned into daily trips and he is always carried there by 8 Angels. It just so happens that every morning this week he has been late coming down for breakfast and for those who know him, LATE IS NOT IN HIS VOCALBULARY!!! Bingo is very precise...he eats supper daily at 4pm...not 4:05 and not 3:55. He eats 6 pieces of chicken, not 5 and not 7. I can go on and on, but you get my point. BEING LATE IS NOT HIM!!! :-) I can honestly say that what he is telling us is not the norm, but God does not operate in the norm. We try to put God in a box and pride ourselves on being so educated, but GOD IS STILL GOD AND HE CAN AND WILL DO WHAT HE PLEASES, and if taking Bingo to Heaven on a regular basis is what God wants then I am OK with it. :-) SO I CAN SAY, WITH CONFIDENCE, Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is within me bless his Holy Name Psalm 103:1
