A MOST EXCELLENT SPIRIT SEPTEMBER 2014 Daniel 5:11 There is a man - TopicsExpress

A MOST EXCELLENT SPIRIT SEPTEMBER 2014 Daniel 5:11 There is a man (Daniel) in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers; Daniel 5:12 Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation. How lovely it would be for each Christian to have such an excellent spirit, and how valuable to the Church as a whole to have an excellent spirit towards each other. Daniel and his friends were chosen due to their excellent spirit, and because of their excellent spirit they were promoted to high positions. I love being in the company of those with an excellent spirit as it is such a blessing for me to know them, and be in their company, and I enjoy their friendship. There are times when it is easier to harden our hearts towards each other than to show love and compassion. Maybe many hearts have been hardened through the different difficult situations we have gone through, and most of us have gone through difficult times. Instead of letting our hearts being hardened due to our situations and, especially towards each other, what should happen, our hearts should have softened. It took me a long time to understand this. There is a saying we either get better or bitter. Some of the examples of hardened hearts is Pharaoh in Moses day, King Saul in Davids day, the Jewish Rabbi in the day of Jesus. Today we no doubt know some whose hearts have hardened instead of softened. We have to move with, and roll with our circumstances, in other words, not let our circumstances control us, but for us to be pliable when circumstances come our way, whether they be good or bad. We need a repentant heart like King David, a disciplined heart like Joseph the son of Jacob, and righteous heart like Job. O for a beginning like Daniel and his friends had, a righteous upbringing, knowing both the Word of God, and knowing God as their Heavenly Father, young men without spot or blemish. None of this legal jargon that we hear of today, Daniel and his friends were the real deal. If only our parents knew the Word of God like the Israelites, and if we as parents knew in our early days what we know now about knowing the Word of God, we would not have had the problems such as we have had in our life time, at least this goes for me. Due to not knowing what we know today we have passed onto our children many wrong ways. I am just so pleased that the Holy Spirit led me into the DHR Ministry Program, otherwise I would not have made it as a Christian, even now I am finding it hard due to the early days of my life style. I am looking forward to a more excellent spirit in me, so that I will become the Christian that I desire to be, and that takes working at, even though I have the prayer support of DHR Ministry. The more we desire to improve ourselves spiritually the greater the attacks we receive from satan. Remember if satan is leaving us alone, it is due to, that we are no threat to him and his kingdom. The only way to have a more excellent spirit is to pray without ceasing, meditate on the Word day and night, and by having the Mind of Christ. This is a big ask, but we certainly need to have the mind of Christ in these days. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. Psalms 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. Apostle Paul certainly did, but what about you and me? We certainly need it. The main reason I do not tangle myself in sin is due to my fear of God, so this way I fear sin, and what it can sin do to me, it can destroy me!! Being under the prayers of my Pastor Peter and his wife Mrs Verlie Hobson helps me greatly, and I greatly value their prayers very much. I also value the prayers of my friends on special occasions. There has been times I wanted to go my way, but at the same time I knew the consequences of self indulgent would bring to me by my actions if I did do those things, that would take me out from under the umbrella of protection from Jesus my Saviour. I also knew how I would let others down, and maybe even put them on a path to hell instead of encouraging them on the path to heaven. In my early years I was a bad influence to those around me, even though I grew up with a Godly Mother. Over the years I have influenced too many away from Jesus, which today I regret very much. The DHR Ministry and the prayers from them, certainly has helped me to overcome and keep me on the path of Righteousness, and helped me influence others to do the same. I have not been as obedient as I should have been, but I am getting there, even though very slowly, but surely. The Lord wants me to link up with my family, and I asked Him in the early days how long will this take, and His reply was; “it was up to me how long it will take”, and of course like so many I lost interest, but at the same time knowing what the Holy Spirit had for me, controlled my life and what decisions I made over the years, and still does. 1 Timothy 2:8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. Matthew 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. Whether it be a man putting away his wife or a wife putting away her husband it is the hardness of our heart that causes us to do this. In the natural there are those who want to separate themselves from their wife or husband, this is what some want to do. Those who hang in there, and especially the wife, who is not shown love by her husband the Lord has many rewards for her, and the same goes for the men, but in the day we live, it is so easy to get another partner. I have heard how Jesus has rewarded those who decide to do it the way Jesus would want them to do it. One woman I know would leave her husband, then the Holy Spirit would speak to her and she would go back to take more of his ungodliness. Only a few days before he died he gave his heart to the Lord, what a wonderful testimony can come out of such devoted love and obedience we receive when we do this for our Lord and Saviour. Something like this is worth the hardship of staying with someone, to see them saved. Before my wife left me, the Holy Spirit spoke to me for nearly a year about loving my wife, and I dug my heals in and said to Him “NO WAY”. For that decision I have paid a high price, and still paying the price of disobedience. These days I try to discourage anyone from saying NO to the Holy Spirit and I know some who are saying no to Him right now. To stay with someone who is not easy to live with, we really need a very special walk with our Lord and Saviour. Sin hardens our heart, not only towards God but towards each other, there are some sins that hardens our heart more than other sins. Being against each other as Christians whatever our teaching or religious differences are, is just one thing that especially hardens one’s heart. Disobedient to the Holy Spirit really hardens our heart after He lets us know what we should be doing or being, and if we reject His guidance. I love the idea of having an “Excellent Spirit”!!! Having an excellent spirit is so important. Having an Excellent Spirit, this way we find favour with many. Loving one another is so important, it brings us into unity with each other and with Jesus, also it helps us to have that most excellent spirit. We are to be in unity of spirit, we owe this to each other but more so we owe it to Jesus. We worship a God of Love, and yet we produce so much hate to too many. Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. One of the things that keeps our heart soft towards Jesus is to have that special love for each other, the same love Jesus has for us, and have a heart that reaches out to, and for each other. whoever and whatever, the other person is or does, or whatever that person believes. If we did not use religions and those with different teachings to ours to close doors on each other, then we would walk very much more in unity, and the Christian way of life would flourish so much more, and that is what we want, isn’t it. Are we not told in the Word of God to get rid of the beam in our own eyes before trying to take out the splinter in our brother or sisters eye. While we have a beam in our own eye, that stops us from seeing the goodness in our brothers eye. Matthew 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brothers eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Matthew 7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Matthew 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brothers eye. Here Jesus Himself calls the person who judges or criticises another, a hypocrite, not a nice statement but so true. Very rarely will you find me criticising another, though sometimes I do slip up, and then I have to repent. Today I do not put down anyone due to their teaching, or their religion or criticise any one even if I do not understand why they teach only the legal side of the Word of God without teaching, how we should be. I am not their judge and they are not my servants, and this is how we should act towards each other, that is in love, in total love!!! Before joining a Pentecostal church, I listened to Bob Mumford and his teaching on legalism of the Word of God, and experimentalism, and so this is why I understand we have to become what the Word of God says we are!! My prayer is Lord create in me a clean heart, and a pure mind. Http://youtube/watch?v=MFlgIk7CXbs To become like Daniel with an excellent spirit, is to take time to be Holy, and this is very important. I also like the song and words of, To be like Jesus, and this is my aim., and I want many to have this same aim, not just to say I am righteous, but to be righteous. © Much Love and Blessings Ivan Authorised Teacher of End Time Deliverance, Healing and Restoration Ministries.
