A Missing Person used to be when a person was inexplicably not seen for 24 hours or more. However, now a Missing Person means a person has inexplicably not texted or emailed in 24 hours or more. BTW, I wonder how many people did unplug this year. Or better yet, how man people tried to unplug, but had internet withdraw prior to the full 24 hours. Question: Could you go 24 hours or more without any texting, emailing, web surfing, FBing, etc.? cnn/2014/03/06/tech/mobile/day-unplugging/index.html (CNN) -- Last week, 19-year-old California university student Adeline Munguia was reported missing after she stopped responding to Snapchats and texts from her roommate. As it turns out, Munguia was fine -- shed just turned off her phone for a while -- but the expectation of constant, instant communication was so normal in her social circles that taking a break was a shock to her friends.
