A Morning Prayer: Precious Lord, I take my stand on this truth today: I am complete in Christ. No matter what I face, I have complete sufficiency in him. No matter what I need, I have complete provision in him. No matter what I do, I have perfect power in him. When I feel inadequate, you are the all-sufficient one. When I feel afraid, you are the God of all mercies. When I hurt, you are the Father of all comforts. When I face todays challenges, you are Lord over them all. So many times, Lord, I feel defeated. My deficits own my thinking. My deficiencies rule my days. Yet youve declared me complete in Christ, and in that I take my stand. Nothing is lacking. No blessing is missing. No need is omitted in your perfect design of me.... I will not wait for other people to complete me – with or without their apologies or approval, I am whole and complete in You. I will not wait for an answered prayer to complete me – I already have all I need in You. By faith, I rise up to my full stature in Christ. By faith, I refuse to slink beneath my identity or slouch beneath my dignity. By faith, I refute the devils lie that I am damaged goods or beyond repair. By faith I can do all things in Christ because I have all things in Christ and I am all things in Christ. He is my treasure, my fortress, my shield, my success, and my all in all....
