A NEW CREATION Glory to God in the highest, waoo looking right and left, we can see how wonderful God as been in our lives, how he has wrought great wonders in our lives, families, academics, finances, relationships, glory to God for everything. No wonder the psalmist said I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together(psalm 34 vs 1-3)Glory to God Looking back at yesterday we shared a powerful topic and glory to God for the way in which he moved powerfully in our lives and seeing the way he transformed many lives he is worthy to be praise because it is not by strength nor by might but by my spirit says the Lord of host. This wonderful morning we are looking at a powerful topic just as the Holy spirit has led which I called A new creation you know what that means? when the first generation of computers were first made then the builder saw that this isnt perfect and that gives rise for the second generation of computer even to the third generation but this morning we are looking deeper than that to see what God has for us. Lets turn our bible to 1st corinthians 5 vs 17-18. Are you there? Ok lets read out loud and clear Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old has passed away, BEHOLD, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation (RSV) Glory to God for that wonderful scripture, many times we have quoted this scripture maybe to our friends, colleagues whatsoever just to show them our genuine repentance that we are now born again and so many times we have quoted this particular scripture blindly without looking. and seeing the deep things in this wonderful scripture. Now lets pick it one by one Therefore: the word therefore can be replaced with henceforth Now if only now lets pick henceforth to replace the word therefore and see how it goes henceforth if any one is in christ, he is a new creature ... Can you see that, that is more than a statement but more of a command that if anyone is in christ he is a new creature oh common give God a big Halleluyah, I can perceive within my spirit that this verse is given as a command to the devil for him to see that you have been cleansed and purchased by his(Jesus) blood and the old nature; that is the spirit within you is no more there and he said the old has passed away when we hear the word passed away maybe a grandmother or grandfather passed away am sure u know what that means it symbolise that the old spirit within you have been crucified and dead....waoo no wonder he said in Romans 8 vs 20 and 21 For the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of him who subjected it in hope because the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to DECAY and obtain the glorious liberty of the children of God. How powerful is that scripture Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old has passed away, BEHOLD, the new has come. Many of us Christians are spiritually blind to some things that has been bestowed upon us freely when we receive the salvation of Christ and that is why the gospel needs to be preached to the unbelievers and the believers should be taught.... Looking at the next word is BEHOLD common can you feel that word in your spirit because God is saying SEE every old thing in you has passed away, they are all dead every sickness or illness, poverty, failure, discouragement, torment you experience from demons and principality when you were still in the world they are all gone but most times we shut our eyes to all this spiritual blessing. God is telling you this morning that every bad situations you were experiencing then are all gone if only you will activate your inner eye ( Faith) to see God in action Genesis 14 vs 13b for the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see them no more can I hear a loud amen.... Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old has passed away, BEHOLD, the new has come. So what is the new that as come? Your spirit man has been transformed and Christ now lives within you....Romans 8 vs 10 But if christ is in you, although your bodies are dead because of sin,( that is when the old has passed away), your spirits are alive because of righteous Glory to God. The good news is that you are now in a good state to receive the baptism of the Holy ghost and his gifts which accompanies it. Let see what verse 18 and 19 says All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. That is in christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting there trespasses against them and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. What next after you have received the salvation and baptism? Its is not just for you to fold your hands and enjoy alone, the scripture said All this is from God....and gave us the ministry of reconciliation and verse 19 went further that he gave us the message that God is not counting the sins of the sinner unto them that his son hath come and died and bear all our sins on himself and he loves us all. Therefore this morning I say unto you no matter how far you think you have gone in sin, God loves you and that is why he has given us the ministry of reconciliation that he loves you and want to come into the kingdom of light....I praise the mercy of God will rest upon us all through christ our Lord...Amen Join tomorrow for another wonderful times in his presence..Good morning
