A NEW ROOF NEEDED: The Curtis Township Library needs a new roof! The building was topped with asphalt shingles in the fall of 1998 and that original shingle coating remains today. The ravages of time are taking their toll and we need to replace it soon before leaks begin to develop and cause interior damage. If you are a licensed contractor, the CTL Library Board is accepting bids or estimates on having a steel roof installed. Please contact Deb Tacoma, Library Director, or the Library Board at 989-735-2601 for information or bid submission. The work is planned as soon as we receive enough donations or grants and qualified bids to cover the cost of the new roof. The estimated time frame for the work is fall of 2013 or the spring of 2014 as soon as the business and financial arrangements can be made.
