A NURSES LOT; Home fron nightshift by 8.30am. Breakfast. Bed, 9am. Wake at 3pm. tells husband, "Shutup!", back to bed. Husband ceases noisy work, does quiet work till 6pm, then leaves for his night job. He phones home at 8pm, no answer. Phones mobile, no answer. Several calls later he rings friend to wake nurse. Nurse wakes, showers, throws down food, runs to boat, starts outboard, undoes ropes, dons rain gear, OF COURSE ITS BLOODY RAINING!!!, dons lifejacket, turns on front & rear nav. lights, roars across the bay to wharf, (as above in reverse), runs to car, drives to work cursing for the entire hour it takes, starts work at 9.30pm.
