A Namghar will be constructed at Chilarai-garh, Toofanganj, West Bengal jointly by Srimanta Sankaradeva Sangha and Society for Srimanta Sankaradeva. Chilarai-garh is the place where Chilarai had his fort. He stayed at nearby Phulbari, where he kept Srimanta Sankaradeva in hiding. Thus all these are historic places. We invite designs for this Namghar from our esteemed members. The Namghar will be made functional on Nov 22. So it will have to be built in phases. In the first phase the Manikut will be completed. Willing designer may inbox me for details. The photo shows the picturesqe spot where the Namghar will be constructed. The photo was taken when we surveyed the place some time ago.
