A Naturalists View of the Universe* The Universe has always existed--prior to the Big Bang event the Universe was a Plasma Energy Field. This Plasma Energy Field caused the Big Bang Event which created the first matter that came into existence--this first matter formed Nebulae and the first stars. Subsequent stars and planets were formed from the debris of some of these older stars that became supernovae--a continuing process of creation. Life arose on Earth from natural physical processes--life forms may have arisen on other planets, also--it is only for sure that Life arose on Earth at this point in time.
