A New Muslim Sister (May Allah keep her steadfast) wrote: I must confess... as a new believer in Islam I want to clear the air about the doubts and fears I had at first: 1. Was I good enough to be a Muslim? 2.How in my busy life could I ever find time to pray 5 times a day? (At the least mind you) 3. Would Allah accept such a broken person? Someone like me who was full of hate and anger towards myself and the world. 4. Would Allah actually listen to my prayers and help guide me? The answer was so clear, once I said the Shahadah (Testimony of faith) with sincerity and whole heartily, at that moment tears fell down my face! I knew my life was forever changed and in a great way! I cant speak for others but I do know that when I hear the call to prayer and its time to pray I put my whole heart into it, nothing is withheld and tears stream from my eyes and you know what? Afterwards when I finish prayer, anything and everything that was bothering me even if it was petty, is gone! This is the mercy and love from Allah (The Most High and Mighty). He know everything, hears everything, and sees everything!
