A New Queen of Babylon! The great Bel Canto soprano Elena Mosuc has proven herself in the operas of Donizetti, Bellini and Verdi. Earlier this week she added yet another composer to this list: Rossini with her debut in Semiramide. I traveled to Lyon to attend the performance and I was not disappointed. There is another performance this weekend in Paris, and that performance will be broadcast on the radio. This is a pirated recording from opening night.
