A Nigerian Engineering Student plead guilty on Friday November 15th to brutally tossing a kitten into the wall of his apartment on February 11th, 2013. His excuse for his brutality? The kitten was scratching the carpet and the couch. The owner of the kitten named Braveheart came home to find her kitten having convulsions. She raced her kitten to the vet who found that the kitten was so severely injured that little Braveheart has been euthanized. The vet report shows he hit the wall so hard he suffered broken legs, spinal injuries and brain trauma. There was no way to save Braveheart so the owner took him home to the bridge. This is not the act of a human angry over a few scracthed items this is a brutal attack on an innocent animal for annoying him! Our court system will hand down a sentence on November 26th and the prosecution actually argued for a suspended sentence and 12 months probabtion??? This is a heinous act that caused a kitten to suffer and die in a great deal of pain. We must tell the crown attorney this is not acceptable and that we demand if not sentanced for animal abuse and cruelty that we want him removed from our Country. The defense has requested that the man receive a conditional discharge after serving his 12 months probation with no record of the incident after. This person is not a Canadian Citizen and is an animal abuser who MURDERED a defenseless innocent. This man can be removed from Canada by Immigration Canada. I would like to present this petition to the court on November 26th with enough signatures to request that this man be removed from our country and not allowed back. I hope all cat lovers and animal advocates will join me in signing this petition to have this abuser removed from our country. There is no excuse for animal abuse and this is a criminal offense and should be justified with a sentence not probation for the murder of an innocent.
