A PERFECT FIT ...But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again. For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:10-11 NLT0 When moved by fear rather than faith, we tend to try and take control of things. We might think we know what we want in life but the Lord who created us has a plan that is custom fitted for our individual gifts and personalities. We get frustrated when we try to jam our divine shaped lives into a world shaped hole! Listen, God has a much better plan for our lives than what the world offers and it is one that is crowned with unshakable peace and unspeakable joy! And don’t worry it is also one of that is highly productive and very successful. The good news is that it’s easy! It’s like having someone preparing a meal for you and all you have to do is sit down and eat it. Take a look at this scenario… “When the followers stepped out of the boat and onto the shore, they saw a fire of hot coals. There were fish on the fire, and there was bread… Jesus said to them, "Come and eat." (John 21:9-12 NCV) Jesus has already prepared a wonderful life for you all you need to do is come to Him and enjoy it. But the key is that it is a life that originates and proceeds from Him so it can only be lived in connection with Him. Thus the only way to find this life is to find Him! For whoever finds me finds life and wins approval from the LORD. (Proverbs 8:35 NLT) So take a load off of yourself today. You don’t have to figure it all out. If you need wisdom you simply need to ask Him and He will give it to you freely and liberally. (James 1:5) If you’re worried about you future, then don’t. (Phil. 4:6) Know that the Lord has planned something good for you and it’s a life that brings Him much glory and honor!
