A PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER ORDER has been issued for your home; due to water line repair work in the area of Northwest 42nd Avenue to 43rd Avenue from Northwest 199th Street to 201st Street. A contractor working in the area broke a 6-inch water line earlier this afternoon. Water will be turned off to conduct the repairs this evening. Once service is restored, all water used for drinking or cooking purposes should be boiled until further notice prior to consumption. Water should be brought to a full rolling boil for at least one minute. There is no problem with using the water for bathing and other household needs. The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department will be sampling the water. Once all tests are cleared, the boil water restrictions will be lifted.
