A Perfect Proposal His proposal recreated their first date, which included the movies, a delicious sushi dinner and a romantic walk on the beach to watch the sunset. It happened on Saturday May 31, 2014. Chris told Robyn that he wanted to see a movie early in the afternoon, and then walk to a local sushi restaurant in Carlsbad to have dinner. He also informed her that on the walk to dinner, he wanted to watch the sunset with her on the beach. “The significance of the actual activities was reminiscent of the first date we ever had - we went to the movies and went to sushi for dinner.” The day went as planned. They saw a movie and then walked the beach while the sun was about 45 minutes from setting. Once at the beach, he told Robyn to draw their names in the sand so that they could take a picture next to it. While she was doing that, he walked a few feet away and drew in the sand Will u marry me? After she finished writing, he told her to come over to see what he wrote; he stood in front of his writing so she couldnt see it until she was right up on it. Once she got close, he let her look at the writing and then got on one knee, professed his love for her, and showed her the ring asking her to be my wife and partner for the rest of our life.
