A Perth judge has expressed his rage following the abandonment of the third trial of an elderly man accused of killing a woman more than 20 years ago. The trial was into its second week when Justice Michael Corboy was told a juror had disregarded his instructions not to conduct investigations outside the courtroom and had discussed details of Mr Penningtons first two trials with other jury members. Nobody, I can assure you at the moment, is more angry in the entire state than me, Justice Corboy told the courtroom.
