A Photographer/Writer/Dreamer Cant Stop Loving the Quest: A few days ago I strolled through my favorite park, searching for images of nature that might be made visible beneath November trees. Later I reviewed old journals, trying to glean the essence of a book I keep trying to write, when I came across a quote by Sue Monk Kidd in one of the entries. I realized for the first time in my life; there is nothing but mystery in the world, how it hides behind the fabric of our poor brow beat days, shining brightly, and we dont even know it. Like playful squirrels, perhaps the gods play hide n seek with my camera. And maybe the tale of a young girl still shines brightly, peering at me when I dont know it. But when the forest reveals a secret to my camera or whispers a word or two into my ears, my heart beats just a little quicker...and the dream is renewed.
