Shed no tears cuz mamas here Hold the whiskey, hold the rum If I drink Ill come undone Fake a smile, clink a cup Pretend Im on the up and up Turn away for just a spell Wipe my eyes before they swell Make them laugh, do my dance Tell my tales of circumstance Take a break to take the pills Pay the staff my dollar bills We hug farewell; I passed the test Another night without a mess No one asks and no one knows Who I am inside these clothes I start the car and drive away My secret safe another day
