A Pray A Day 9/13/2014 - Truly Believe, Childlike Faith... ..... To believe is to ‘truly’ know. I am saying it the way the Lord spoke it to me this morning. Unbelief is doubt. Faith and doubt cannot reside in the same space. Sometime ago I asked the Lord to forgive me for doubting Him and to help me with it. I desire to walk in a place where there is no doubt about what my Lord Jesus can and will do. When we truly settle in our hearts that our God is able to do exceeding abundantly above ALL that we ask or think according to the power that works in us we will get to work on building ourselves up on our most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, doubt will have no other choice but to die and we will stop being ‘sore amazed’ and just give God the glory! Today’s scripture verse reads like this in The Message bible: “No sooner were the words out of his mouth than the father cried, “Then I believe. Help me with my doubts!”” (Mark 9:24). This sounds something like many of us doesn’t it? There are some things in my life that I vacillate between being sure about and then, not sure of. Then the Lord reminds me what I ‘truly’ know I heard Him speak to be about it and what I ‘truly’ know He has shown me concerning it, now all I have to do is ‘believe’, no matter what it looks like, no matter what someone may say about it, no matter what anyone thinks about it, I must settle in my heart ‘whose report I will believe’. I want to have childlike faith. A child will believe whatever you tell them. Children do not doubt and they do not waver. If you promise a child something that child will just automatically believe that you will do what you say you will do. This is what I believe the Lord is saying in Matthew 18 when the disciples asked Him who is the greatest in the kingdom of .....
