A.R. Rahman to do a concert for Lekar Hum Deewana Dil Music maestro A.R. Rahman is all set to mesmerise the audience with a live music performance to promote the Armaan Jain-Deeksha starrer, Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. The concert will be held in Mumbai and will be promoted as the LHDD unplugged evening. The last time Rahman performed in the city was in 2011, around the same time when the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Rockstar released. Interestingly, while Rockstar was directed by Imtiaz Ali, Lekar Hum Deewana Dil is his brother, Arif Ali’s directorial debut. The music maestro will perform some of his compositions from the film, including Khalifa, which has already become quite popular. Both Armaan and Deeksha were eager to watch A.R. Rahman’s live performance as Khalifa is their favorite track from the film and they are excited that the musical evening is finally on the cards. The song, which was composed during an overnight jam session and took just one day to make, will take centre stage that evening.
