A RAOK a Day Keeps Kindness Coming Our Way ~ Today, I had a lot of stops to make and knew Id be in an area with a fair amount of homeless people. I threw a few food and toiletry bags in my car, hoping to find people to give them to. All day, not a single person on the street. Just as I was heading back home, I see a guy with a shopping cart and sign on the opposite side of the road. So, I whip around to try to catch up with him. I asked if he was hungry and he was. I gave him a food/toiletry bag as well as my leftovers from lunch, a big Gatorade and a $5 gift card to Del Taco. Wow ~ he was super grateful and I stood on the sidewalk and chatted with him for a while. He was very articulate, very well spoken and after I told him about RAOK, he asked me to take his picture!!
