A REJOINDER TO COMR MANGUT DYONG LETTER TO BARR. SOLOMON DALUNG A.K.A IGBARMAN OTAROK - I have observed and followed your post with keen interest ,In regards to this Zoning issues that u are totally against, but I have come out with a counter argument against your position regarding Zoning . As I have commented in one of your previous post, where I said in democracy like ours zoning is indispensable and I went ahead to tell you about FEDERAL CHARACTER and QUATER system which is been practice in Nigeria and that gave birth to the principle of zoning, because both zoning and the later are geared towards reducing the dominance of one ethnic group over the other within the polity hence bringing about fairness ,equity and justice in the body politic . So when you say, zoning has no place in Nigerian or Plateau politics you are invariably saying that the FEDERAL CHARACTER COMMISSiON which is established by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria should be Quashed and the implication is that a Bokkos man can hardly becomes a senator or a Reps member in your zone because Mangu people are more educated than Bokkos people ,which implies that ,they can be very competent and more qualify than u people because of their level of education. With the above understanding of zoning and federal character ,I will like to proceed to do justice to your letter to Barr.Solomon Dalung. You said in your letter that the TarOH people have monopolized the senatorial seat in the southern zone.I want to say here ,that u dont know much about southern zone senatorial politic, because apart from Wase LGA ,no LG in southern Plateau that has not produced a senator.so u have to always go for a research before coming out to mislead people with your post and u also asked ,that where is the fairness?since Tarok people monopolizes the senatorial seat in our Zone. Because u perceived such idea, does it means that ,we shouldnt agitate for fairness, equity and justice in our community? because u said it doesnt exist.Again u said Barr . Solomon is bais, because had it been it is him that JANG has choosen he wouldnt have complain ,I want to say YES he wouldnt have complain because he is coming from the right zone ,where Plateau people are advocating that power must shift to . In regards to imposition of candidate ,which u said ,you are beginning to believe that the other aspirants are afraid of GNS.I want to state here that, even if the people are afraid, they are right because election doesnt mean just casting votes. Election means the activities BEFORE ,DURING and AFTER the casting of Votes and with what we are seeing ,Your Boss Jang is trying to use the state aparatus against the people and this is evident when one observed what happened during the PDP congress in the state. As a graduate of sociology in ABU,Zaria ,I though u will know this more than I do because the last time I was taugh FAMILY was in Junior secondary but I knew u had a course in ABU that has to do with family but your understanding of who a brother and Son is ,I want to say is very misleading. In the field of politics which is my domain and I know HIERACHY exist ,I have found fault in your comparism of the office of PRINCIPAL PERSONAL ASSISTANCE WITH SENIOR SPECIAL ADVISER TO THE FATHER ON SPECIAL DUTIES. Sir! u also made reference the appointment of F.N TAPGUN and JOSPHINE TAPGUN as ministers and you refers to their appointment as lack of fairness ,equity and Justice but I want to again state here categorically that,in the history of Plateau state ,NO governor and minister has ever come from the same village. We the people Plateau State are resolute in our advocacy that POWER must Shift to the southern zone because we have only one common enemy which we must fight and that is the imposition unpopular candidate on Us.Plateau Shall Rise Again!
