A REVOLUTIONARY CHANGE IN RITUALS OF TIRUMALA In an auspicious evening in the year 1339 A.D.in a Brahmotsava, Processional Eka murthy of Lord Venkatesha was being taken in the procession, In those days holy Gods and Goddesses were attending the brahmotsava invisibly..the astadikpalakas were praying god with their heads down as a obiesance to the Supreme commands of cosmic forces..All were pulling rope of Mada streets of temple down., with hymning Vedic mantras and females were dancing and elephants truimphing showing respect to lord, supreme. All of a sudden a small ball of fire appeared and spread all over within no time..this huge fire made considerable damage to the few property, that of MADA street..all gathered there were stood shocked in stoic silence..anyone of them couldnt foresee it. They came to know that supreme of COSMIC FORCE was upset with something in Brahmotsava and showing dis consent in this way...!! The gaurds sprinkled water on fire, Priests and all started shouting Govinda..Govindaa...praised him and begged to forgive them for their mistake.. Suddenly a heavy voice of devotee said, Listen all of you,I am completely not happy about what you doing now . Dont you know I am a grihasta. My consorts should accompany me in such utsavas. Hereafter dont use this Eka murty in utsavas. It should be in Garbha graha and should receive all rituals with main diety. There are three idols hidden in Anjanadri hills and use them in further utsavas..if you dont follow this, fire accidents wl be often in hills.. thus saying the voice disappeared.... T.T.D. Then conducted search operation and found the idols of Shridevi, Bhudevi, and Malayappa swamy. The same idols were being used in UTSAVAS... HARE SHRINIVASA .
