A Regional Seminar on ‘Open Source Software for Building Digital Library in South Asian Countries Perspective’ on 6th July, 2013. East West University (EWU) Library is going to organize a regional seminar on ‘Open Source software for Building Digital Library in South Asian Countries Perspective’ on 6th July, 2013 at 5 pm. The event is being funded by Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL). EIFL is an international non-profit organization based in Europe with a global network of partners and works with libraries worldwide to enable access to digital information in developing and transition countries. Dr. John Rose, representative from UNESCO and Honorary Research Associate at the University of Waikato, New Zealand will present the keynote paper at the seminar. Representatives from Digital Library Network in South Asian countries (India, Maldives, Pakistan, Nepal etc.) and local experts and senior library professionals will be present at the seminar.
