A Rose in Bloom! Have you ever seen a Rose Bud and it seems to - TopicsExpress

A Rose in Bloom! Have you ever seen a Rose Bud and it seems to take forever to bloom? But what would happen if you just did not wait, instead you took your fingers and pried open the Bud and tried to pull the petals out into a Bloom? I think we all know what would happen....it would look terrible and be destroyed! Sometimes people are like Rose Buds, they are in the process of Gods Work and you know that they are going to be strong Born Again Believers, when they Bloom in their time. But sometimes well meaning people try to make them Bloom before it is their time. By forcing them to do so called Christian works and deeds. By putting them into positions that they are not ready for at the time. Isaiah 50:11 Behold, all you who kindle a fire, Who encircle yourselves with firebrands, Walk in the light of your fire And among the brands you have set ablaze. This you will have from My hand: You will lie down in torment. God is giving a solemn warning to those who are walking in darkness and yet trying to help themselves out into the light, without Trusting in Him. They are represented in this verse, as kindling a fire, and compassing themselves with sparks. What does this mean? It means that when we are in darkness, the temptation for us and for others who are well meaning, is to find a way WITHOUT trusting in the Lord and relying upon Him. Instead of letting Him help us out, we try to help ourselves out. Or we listen to others who want to help us, we seek light from all different sources, like nature, books on how to be successful, the advice of our friends. We try the conclusions of our reason and logic----and might almost be tempted to accept a way of Deliverance which would not be of God at all. All these are called, fires of our own kindling; rush ahead lights that will surely lead us onto the ways of destruction. And God WILL LET US walk in the light of those sparks, if it is what we desire, but the end will be sorrow. Isaiah 50:10 Who is among you that fears the LORD, That obeys the voice of His servant, That walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God. (only) As Born Again Believers, do not try to get out of a dark place, except, in Gods time and in Gods way, and resist those who want to push you in wrong directions, thinking they are helping you. The time of trouble is meant as a TIME to teach you lessons that God knows you need. Premature deliverance may frustrate Gods work of grace in your life. Just as trying to make a Rose Bud Bloom before its time. Instead commit the whole situation and circumstance to Him. Be willing to abide in the darkness as long as you have His presence with you, not being too anxious to jump this way or that. Remember that it is better to walk in the dark with God than to walk alone in the light. Cease meddling with Gods Perfect Will, Way and Time for your life. You may destroy the Perfect Work of Gods Time and instead of a Rose in Bloom, you will become a work of destruction. You may move the hands of a clock to show you a time that you want to see, but IT DOES NOT CHANGE THE ACTUAL TIME. And so you may try to hurry the unfolding of Gods will, but you will do harm and not help the work. You can open a Rose bud, but you spoil the flower. Trust it all to Him. By leaning on Him in Love. ****1 Corinthians 15:1-4, the pure Gospel of Grace for your Salvation**** https://youtube/watch?v=ZwpMpbpzNT0&index=15&list=PLAsTU96Lkx7eFxInqHzEv3FbB24PxBjRe
