A SAD REALITY How unfortunate the nation will be when its leaders remain busy all the day in a lust of self aggrandizement. For the fountain of power they remain utterly magnetized in the iron grip of money, money and money. Whether they may be politicians, bureaucrats or any other functionaries of government their desires for excessive economic progress remain on the top. Unfortunately, this miserable fact befits well for Pakistani Nation. Perhaps, this would be the only country where the nation’s top notched and nominated leaders move audaciously in order to meet their evil desires. How brazenly the same leaders succeed every time in winning the hearts of common people, really, traps my mind. Surprisingly, the nation despite being aware of everything behaves unconsciously to their bloody wolf that lurks under an innocent sheepskin. And, every time these leaders show lukewarm attitude and remain indifferent to the nation’s plight after getting their way to the power corridors. Who is responsible for this miserable trend? Certainly, we people. If we had nipped this in its early stages, surely, we would have lived in a country that Mr. Jinnah had dreamed. This is the only reason that makes the state; a bonanza for the mighty and a burst for the poor.
