A SECOND MANUS ISLAND MURDER? I found the following on Nicki Odenbreit’s Face Book Page. Published without comment, it has apparently come from an inmate in the Christmas Island Detention Centre. I also post it without comment, except to wonder if we will ever officially hear more about this young man. We were told that he had a severe neck injury and he was evacuated to Australia. “we heared some news but we are not sure they are true or not.In CC on CI there is hunger strike and 2 women harmed themselves but the security there,didn’t let the clients contact media and they didn’t let anybody in or out of the center..100 clients signed with their names and numbers that if immigration wants to keep transfering to Nauru they will do whatever they can to stop them..whatever.. we heared that another Iranian man died in the hospital because of injury for the protest on Manus Island..the media didn’t say anyhting but we heared from his family in Ahwaz,Iran..“
