A Salt Lake City police officer was making a routine pedestrian stop Routine? Did this man commit any sort of crime in front of this officer? man falsely identified himself, then fled on foot How did the cop know this, did he know his name to begin with? Three officers arrived on scene and tackled the man through a glass door Are they freaking kidding me? They chased a guy whos ONLY crime was running, and then they tackled him through a freaking plate glass window??? police took the man into custody for fleeing Again I ask, fleeing WHAT? Once the man is identified, police will determine if he has any additional warrants Thought they already knew who he was, thats why they knew he gave a wrong name to begin with, and why they were chasing him right?
