A School Mum has written in and asked: My 5 yr old daughter is a heavy sleeper, I am having trouble night time toilet training her. She has limited fluids in the evening, goes to the toilet before bed always and is perfectly daytime toilet competent. Shes a heavy sleeper and even when she wets the bed she doesnt waken unless I check on her and do the usual changing of sheets. I have her in pull ups over night time, and usually wake her around midnight and try and make her wee, she gets cranky and sits in the toilet but doesnt go. Shes been checked by a gp and he says give it time. Not only are pull-ups expensive I really want to help her master night time toiletting. For her own benefit as well as mine! Many thanks in advance for any help!
