A Skin Question: Hi Jayni, how are you doing? I have a question for you... Ive been using the same brand of face moisturizer for about 2 years now. Somedays it makes my face feel greasy, more noticeably in the summer. I have dry/oily combination skin. How often should we change our moisturizer? Thank you! ANSWER: Using the same moisturizer is not really the problem. I have been using Oil of Olay for ages and it does the trick. But what may work is having 2 moisturizers that you can use simultaneously. If your skin is more oily on some days, try using a toner before applying moisturizer. The toner helps shrink pores that release oil. A toner is good especially in the summer months. During the winter however, you may need something more rich for the skin as the cold temp and in home heating dries out the skin making it feel tight. I have always recommended Vitamin E cream in this case. If it feels too greasy for you to use during the day, slather it on before you hit the sack. Always remember to use moisturizers with an SPF in it, even in the winter. Stay beautiful my darling!
