A Sonic employee is in the hospital after he was shot by a robber. It happened at the Sonic on Bitters Road near U.S. 281. According to police, two employees were walking to their cars when a man came up to them with a gun and told them to go back inside and give him the money. The employees did as they were told, but the employee opening the safe was going too slow for the robber, so he shot him in the stomach. The man fled the scene afterward without any money. The employee was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition. #KSATnews
