A Spanish court has decided to continue the prosecution of Lional Messi, the Argentinian footballer accused last year of defrauding the Spanish state of more than €4m. It is alledged that he approved the creation of a web of #shellcompanies that may have been used to evade taxes due on income from image rights. Time will show whether Mess is guilty but it shows how the problem of shell companies is not exclusive to world of business and finance but football too.
