A State with No Republicans! A US State with zero Republicans in office -- The State of Illinois. Think about this. Some interesting data on the state of Illinois: ... There are more people on welfare in Illinois than there are people working. ...Chicago pays the highest wages to teachers than anywhere else in the U.S. averaging $110,000/year. Their pensions average 80-90% of their income, for life. They can retire at 45 and get other jobs while still receiving their pensions. ...Body count: In the last six months, 292 murdered in Chicago . 221 killed in Iraq ; AND Chicago has one of the strictest gun laws in the entire US. Here is the Illinois chain of politicians -- President: Barack Hussein Obama Senator: Dick Durbin House Representative: Jesse Jackson Jr. Governor: Pat Quinn House leader: Mike Madigan Atty. Gen.: Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike) Mayor: Rohm Emanuel The leadership in Illinois - all Democrats. Thank you for the combat zone and the total economic failure in Chicago . Of course, theyre all blaming each other since they cant blame Republicans or George Bush! Chicago school system rated one of the worst in the country. Cant blame Republicans; there arent any! State pension fund $78 Billion in debt, worst in country. Cant blame Republicans; there arent any! Cook County ( Chicago ) sales tax 10.25% highest in country. Cant blame Republicans; there arent any! George Ryan is no longer Governor in Illinois, he is in the prison. He was replaced by Rob Blagoyevitch who also is in prison. 4 of the last 7 Illinois Governors have been convicted and imprisoned. And Representative Jesse Jackson Jr. resigned when charged with (and later convicted of) corruption and fraud while in office. The Land of Lincoln, where their political leaders are in prison making license plates. This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois. And he is going to fix Washington politics for us? Now you can better understand what people mean when they say Obama has brought Chicago-style politics to Washington. (Oh, and don’t forget Detroit, another good example of Democrat Party leadership.) Now, here are some other interesting facts the mainstream media has kept hidden: A recent Investors Business Daily article provided very interesting statistics from a survey by the United Nations International Health Organization. Percentage of men and women who survived a cancer five years after diagnosis: U.S. 65% England 46% Canada 42% Percentage of patients diagnosed with diabetes who received treatment within six months: U.S. 93% England 15% Canada 43% Percentage of seniors needing hip replacement who received it within six months: U.S. 90% England 15% Canada 43% Percentage referred to a medical specialist who see one within one month: U.S. 77% England 40% Canada 43% Number of MRI scanners (a prime diagnostic tool) per million people: U.S. 71 England 14 Canada 18 Percentage of seniors (65+), with low income, who say they are in excellent health: U.S. 12% England 2% Canada 6% And now for the important last statistic: Which countries have National Health Insurance? U.S. NO England YES Canada YES But when Obamacare was being pushed through Congress--and ultimately found Constitutional ONLY if it was deemed a tax (the largest tax increase in U.S. history, yet we were all told by Obama himself when he was pushing his new law that “it is not a tax”)--we were all being told by Pelosi, Reid, the media, and Obama that healthcare was so great in Canada and in Europe that the U.S. should emulate their models. Lies on top of lies. Now, here are some other very interesting facts kept tucked away by the media, perhaps this helps explain the abysmal job the Obama Administration is doing..... The percentage of each past presidents cabinet who had worked in the private business sector prior to their appointment to the cabinet..... You know what the private business sector is, right? A real-life business, not a Government job. A real job where if you fail or screw up you get fired. Well, here are the percentages of each President’s administration that worked in the private sector before going into government: T. Thats right! Only eight percent -- the least, by far, of the last 19 presidents! And these people are trying to tell our big Corporations how to run their businesses? Is it any surprise that the Obama Administration spent hundreds of millions dollars to create the Obamacare web site and launched it without testing it first, without adequate web security in place to protect private information, and it has been a total complete failure? But no one has been fired and Obama came out this week saying the person in charge (Sebelius) has done a fantastic job and she gets the President’s full support of confidence. Are you starting to understand the difference between the real world of having real jobs with real job responsibilities versus only having a career in government and politics? How can the president of a major nation and society, especially the one with the most successful economic system in world history, stand and talk about business and how to help run one when hes never worked for a private business or run one? Nor has 92% of his cabinet and advisors. Pass this along so these verifiable statistics get known by all Americans (and because the media won’t bring any of this to light while they continue to provide cover for Obama’s incompetence.)
