A TRIP TO THE POST OFFICE! It was Wednesday of this week and even - TopicsExpress

A TRIP TO THE POST OFFICE! It was Wednesday of this week and even though I’m in the US, I told my hubby/boss that I was taking the day off from work to celebrate Nigeria’s Independence Day! LOL! I promised some friends to send them my meditation book, ‘Jesus Calling’ by Sarah Young and I decided also to send Oprah Winfrey’s book, ‘What I Know For Sure,’ another favorite of mine lately. Inside Oprah’s book to my Facebook friend Sal in South Africa, I started ugly crying as I wrote: “What I know for sure? God Himself was behind me sending that friend request to you.” Sal has been my biggest supporter from the very beginning of writing these posts. In fact, she was one of the very first people who I discussed writing them with and from Day 1 she has encouraged me and over three years later she’s still my biggest cheerleader, this time to write my book, giving me a deadline of January 1, 2015 to have it done, as I called her, still crying, sitting in my car in front of the post office! In so many ways this woman has changed my life and we’ve never even met! God’s too much! Ok, next I’m inside the post office and I’m talking to the lady helping me send the packages. She asked if I was attending an Oprah event happening later this month in our area and I told her I wouldn’t be going, but she should go. She told me that she would like to attend, but the ticket prices are too expensive for her and also said that she doesn’t know her life’s purpose. I told her that I believe she does know what her purpose is, but she just have to find space in her life to do it, like me the wanna be book writer who hasn’t written any books! I gave her an extra copy of the Oprah book I had in my car and I wrote inside that one: “What I know for sure? We roll with God and all things are possible with Him. Make it happen!” Then in line right behind me, a gentleman shows up and he’s holding in his hand his book that was recently published that he was sending a copy to a reporter for a magazine. The post office lady says to him that I want to write a book too and before leaving he talks with me and says, “There’s no coincident I’m meeting you today. God sent me here with a message for you. Stop procrastinating, stop making excuses and write your book!” WE ROLL WITH GOD!
