A TRUTH THAT WILL SET YOU FREE We are ALL, without exception, hit by bad news, problems, trials, storms and failures throughout our lives. Yes, everyone of us. Yet, some thrive and prosper while others sink deeper and deeper into bitterness, frustration, hopelessness, misery and scarcity with teh passage of time. Now, what makes one group thrive and the other sink? Just one key characteristic: the ability to continue to think positively while going through negative situations. This is good news because we all have the power to choose our thoughts, especially those of us who are born-again. What can help us focus on the positive rather than on the negative? Faith. Faith that no matter what comes our way, we can overcome it. Faith that we have within us the power to resolve our problems. Faith that behind every trial there is a blessing in disguise. Faith that there is a good purpose if we have to go through a storm. Faith that we are worthy and that God will never forsake us. Faith that we have received (multiple) talents and gifts from our Father in heaven. Faith that we can make a difference. Faith that we can resist Satan and his evil spirits. Faith that misery, sickness and hopelessness are not the plan of God for us. Faith that God is a god of justice, mercy and forgiveness. Faith that God loves us and always will. What does this level of faith do to us? It gives us access to supernatural powers and capabilities. It enables us to search for the good in what only seems to be bad. It empower us not to spend time and energy asking why me? type of questions, but to immediately move into a solving problem attitude. And as the supernatural powers are released in our lives, we gracefully overcome whatever comes our way. Furthermore, as we overcome, our faith grows and we develop the capacity to go through all types of storms. At the end of the day, it is not the presence or absence of storms that matter in our lives, but our reaction to them. Now, if we have faith, we will react appropriately and get out of our messes in 100% of the cases and enjoy life thoroughly and abundantly. It all comes down to choosing the thoughts we focus on, the news we concentrate on. Next time a trial enters your life, deliberately choose to remain positive. Refuse to go into a self-pity party, to pretend that the trial is not here, to give up, or to count on others to help you out. Simply flex your faith muscles and ask the Holy Spirit to power you to victory. And do not wonder whether He will, because in 100% of the cases, he will. He never fail us. May this truth enter your heart and change your mind forever. You were born again to be a champion, an overcomer and a winner. Be one. Let your faith propel you to victory. Serge
