A Tale by Henry. I love the snow. I have always loved the snow. My first winter with Jen I was just a puppy, and of course I was being housebroken so we would venture outside a lot. My first Christmas we traveled to Jens hometown of Greenwood Indiana. A few of Jens friends had gathered at a small hill in town and brought their sleds. We had a bright orange sled and on Jens first trip down that hill she sat me in front of her and down we slid. That adventure was great fun. We rode down that hill over and over for a couple of hours, and then as it began to get dark it began to snow. Oh what fun I had leaping around and catching the snow on my nose and in my mouth. On our last run down the hill we ran into a friends sled and all rolled off into the snow. It was at that moment that I discovered the joy of making a snow angel. Yes, dogs can make snow angels. You just throw yourself on your side onto the ground and begin to move your legs as if you are running. Jen was so proud of me. She showed my creation to all her friends and they exclaimed just how smart I was. Every year when it snows Jen takes me to a snow covered field so I can make snow angels. Once when visiting the beach in Florida I made a sand angel. Yep, I really did! See the photo for proof! Winter is fast approaching and I want to be home with Jen so I can make some more snow, or sand, angels with her.
