A. The cold blast for much of the nation will be impressive; B. Bombogenesis is be involved (but not anywhere near the lower 48). C. The hype, hyperbole and histrionics ahead of this first cold spell doesnt give me much hope that every other storm or polar plunge this winter wont be portrayed by many media as anything other than the end of the world. Most local TV meteorologists, including Sam Argier and me, will do our best to separate fact from fiction.
