A Tribute to Holistic Tewari… ------------------------------------- Just heard that Manish Tewari the Ex union I&B Minister and Congress spokesperson has been finally removed from his duty as spokesman of the party for airing certain “unauthorised” views on the causes of Congress’s debacle in the last Lok Sabha elections . Now he is so upset that he has dared the Congress leadership, saying that this is an assault on the “humble activist congressman” in him, who can’t be gaged for his “core conviction” in “Nehruvian vision and pluralistic ideologies”. But I am sure the viewers of the English news channels have heaved a sigh of relief now that Tewari won’t be seen assaulting the cerebral intelligence of the hapless viewers. His arguments in TV debates conglomerated holistically with grotesque-sounding words and other peculiarities of the English language, discoursed by the rather aberrant, dilapidated technique of confabulation, as opposed to rhetorical bombast, has helped him to hog the limelight infallibly, since he took over the job of defending the indefensible blunders of Congress Party and its leaders specially from the Nehru-Gandhi family. He tried very hard to maintain a fine balance between ostentatious patronizing of the complexities that the English language has to offer and making convincing sense of the most unconvincing arguments to the viewers, watching his theatrics on TV.
