A WARNING to all avid SHOPPERS: The Panorama Residents Association (PRA) has just informed us of a criminal modus operandi being utilized at shopping centers throughout Johannesburg. Whilst parked in the car lot, target vehicles being stripped of one or both of their registration plates by these criminals. When the unsuspecting shopper returns to his/her vehicle, they are either approached immediately by the suspect(s), or followed briefly by them before they make contact. The suspect(s) manage to grab victims attention just long enough, claiming to have been a witness to the stripping of the plates, to stop victims before their accomplices arrive on scene. Victims are reported to have either been held-up, or even hijacked at this point. The PRA, as well as the Beagle team, would like to issue this warning to all residents within our jurisdiction and urge all shoppers to maintain strict vigilance. Shopping lists should be accompanied by mental look-out lists when out and about. This warning should slot-in right underneath remote jamming. #Warning #StayVigilant #StaySafe!
