A WASTEFUL WORK... Thank God for the work we are doing in Gods kingdom service but what of our relationships and intimacy with God whom we are claiming to be working for. One of the great mistakes of life is to be working for somebody tiredlessly and the person whom they are working for does not recognise and identify those that are working for him then all the effort and the energy put together into the work becomes futile and fruitless so are some of us is to God. However,it is very important in life and destiny to reorganise and redirect how we are living and what we are doing with our life so that at the end of the day instead of possessing the real substance,we are busying pursuing the shadow that can never last and profitable. One of the misplacement of priorities and the grave mistakes of life which have seen in churches today is rating and placing more value on the work doing( service) than the life living( Salvation). There is no reward for the amount of effort, energy and resources we put together into christian service when our christian life is not upright and intact before God, our life is more important than the services we are rendering before God, He is much more interested in the life we are living than the work we are doing unto Him so it requires wisdom to settle our life salvation in walking with Him first before setting out to working for Him. According to 1Cor3:10-15 summarizes the foundations we are laying which determines how effective and productive our works will be and sustain the test of time,the work itself shall be tried and tested with fire by God whether it will stay or burn at the end of the day.What beautifies the work we are doing for God is the richness and deepness of the foundation we are having together with Him, salvation positioned our life to be solidly laid in God which adequately prepared and equipped us for effective and productive christian service. Therefore,the way we are living our life determines the extent of the impact our works will make and the benefit it will bring to God and the people around us. Lets cross check and carefully examining ourselves if this mistake is discovered in our life now, it is better to be corrected without hesistation because it will be unfortunate for us after weve worked for the long time in Gods vineyard and then discovered that our works does not gain recognition before God and has no record in the book of God that weve never worked for Him.. What a great loss, waste of energy and resources,talents and gifts and Gods investment in our life will be??? Friends,it is time to go back to God and settle with Him to avoid wastage of resources in our works we are doing for Him.
