A WISE LESSON In loving memory of my Late grandfather Rudolf Adzima.(aged:105yrs.)A real simple man of virtue and wisdom. He was a good Carpenter by Profession and a farmer.A Presbyterian and a disciplinarian. I visited his farm and after harvesting some food stuffs,he asked me to tie up the sack, with a piece of rope.I did, pulling and stretching the last huge knot, falling in the process, just to avoid items falling off!,when carrying the sack on my head back home. Just a few metres from farm, the sack opened and everything was down on the ground!. The old man laughed briefly, and after filling back the sack,he made a simple tie knot with rope, which never came off, till we got home.He asked me to untie, again I could not. However,he did it easily.I was amazed. He then said to me....It is not HOW HARD you tie the knot, but HOW WELL you did it! So my little Lesson to share with most struggling African economies is,it is not how hard you tie the knot in making economic policies to survive, because poor people are dying, out of some cruel policies, but rather how well You get them done, using experts who are knowledgeable and experienced....VERY SIMPLE!!
