A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT As Believers, we are not promised a life that is one of smooth sailing, or one that is filled with roses and ease, but rather, as you know, one that is completely opposite of what I just mentioned. There are going to be times in our lives where it seems as if all Hell has broken loose, and everything that happens is something catastrophic, something outside the norm, and something that causes us to cry ourselves to sleep, wondering if we can survive another onslaught of demonic oppression. To quote my Grandfather, who told me during a crisis in my young life, “Gabriel, always remember that Satan works before a Move of God and after a Move of God.” What you are seeing is a contrived effort of Satan to move our eyes off of what God has in store for you. It is this engineered effort, inspired by the powers of darkness to seek you out to keep you from receiving God’s Blessing for you. But even in the midst of this effort, stay focused. Stay humble. Stay the course. I must admit, it is much easier said than done, but understand that what you face is not the result of someone doing you wrong, but rather the very powers of darkness to keep your blessing away from you. But the Holy Spirit through Isaiah stated, “But now thus says The Lord, that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed you, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by My Name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame be kindled upon you. For I am The Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour (Isaiah 43:1-3). Peter stated, “Beloved, be not surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share in Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when His glory is revealed” (I Peter 4:12). When you feel like quitting, press on. When you feel like giving up, keep believing. When life brings you down, know in whom you have believed, and be persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day. Remember, this too shall pass, you will make it through, for He has too much invested in you to see you quit now!
